Nearly no preparation of dinner by myself after the marriage. And personally I don't like to prepare dinner, if my wife is tired I always suggest her to eat outside. Do you often prepare the dinner? Or you will prepare the dinner even if you hate the dinner preparation?

Yeah sure and why not and it is not a hard things to do. On the way back home just get the stuffs from any food outlets and serve it. Now I'm 46 years old and I don't know why always like to have dinner or any food stuffs at home. Maybe too much having dinner outside when I was younger. Especially now I have to take extra care for my health. All in less and no longer for more, quantitatively. So far never hate for dinner preparation, put in microwave oven, ....whoa!!!!there....finished. Serve and take it slowly just like an "excavator" does...!!!!

Dinner Preparation by yourself is good for you as you know how to become a healthy smoker by using good diet to compensate the hurt from smoke, am I right? LOL. I'd like to eat at home also, my wife's cook is specific good to me. lol

When I was married I would cook sometimes but since my dishes were on the simpler side, most often we would do it together since she would want something fancier. I made breakfast alone most of the time which as simple during the week but I would make pancakes on the weekend.

I am able to do very simple cook. Now I work at another city far away from my home,so I prepare the food by myself. Do you know how I cook? Put two or three kinds of vegetable together, and let water submerge them following by warming them up. I am not able to cook some meat, so these days I eat vegetable only every day. I am looking forward to coming backup to home.

Yes, I can cook. It is easy, just follow the recipe. Really all you need is a very basic cookbook to get an idea of times and temperatures to roast or bake meat for example. I bake chicken, porkchops and do roasts. I have even made up my own recipes on occasion based of course on some recipe in a book but altered in some way. I make cookies from scratch not using the bought cookie dough stuff. To save time and to make things easy since I am cooking just for myself I mostly have canned vegetables except for steamed broccoli and fresh carrots cooked on the stove. On rare occasions I'll get potatoes and make my own mashed potatoes.

Hello wqhhust, Yes I do prepare dinner sometime although not always. I like to do it when I am in the mood for it but if not I'd just tell her to prepare the dinner for me. Its a good feeling when you prepare dinner for your family and you can see on their faces how much they appreciate it. But again I won't do it all the time. Lolz.. :-)
