Whenever an earthling prepares to tell the truth about UFOs or aliens visiting earth, Men in Black are said to arrive in big black cars to persuade the person to keep the secret.
Are the Men in Black secret service or security officers, or even agents of some bizarre international conspiracy?
Are they aliens who are masquerading as humans? Are they flesh-and-blood or hallucinations?
Those who meet them relate the incidents in such matter of fact terms, it seems that they must be more than fantasy.
Whatever they are, they symbolise our age-old fear of the unknown in a strikingly contemporary way.

Yes, I agree! But the belief now is that they are a kind of organic robot. People who have seen them describe the black cadillacs they arrive in as being from the 1950s. Clothing the same. The MIBs often seem a bit disoriented and use antiquated expressions along the order of "23 skidoo" which was popular in the late 30s or 40s along with Zoot suits. If you want to, you can easily distract them or confuse them by feedng them disinformation. They don't appear as often these days as they once did. One woman was chased by them and when they came to her car, she rolled up the window and drove off and they seemed totally bewildered!
