Incorruptibiity- the failure of a dead body to decompose- is usually said to be a sign of sainthood.
Count CHristian Friedrich von Kahlbutz swore that his body would never decompose if he was indeed a murderer- his well preserved remains can still be seen today in the village of Kampehl, Germany.
"Whether they are real or imagined, it seems that restless phantoms are always with us".

I respect his vows but without proper embalmin how ca a body be stopped from decomposing is the question against nature. Might be in pyramids, sphinx as such I dont know whether we can stop decompsing without embalming.
