Do you know someone who is blessed and really lucky, but still complains?

One of my biggest pet peeves are people who are so lucky and have the best lives, but can't stop complaining. These people have all the luck in the world, but just don't feel it's enough. They act as if they're entitled to sheer bliss every moment of the day, with no problems in sight. Don't get me wrong. I don't begrudge anyone success or happiness. In fact, if more people were happier, there would be less crime. Or, at least that's the theory. But, then again, there are some people who do not know how good they have it. Do you have friends that constantly gripe and complain about everything, even though their life is practically perfect? Do you think they are complaining because they're really miserable?

Having practically everything in life doesnt mean that a person is complete or happy. We all have different aspects of issues in life whether its physically, mentally, spiritually etc. And all of these aspects varies depending on how you manage them, but still, "nobodys perfect". You may succeed in your job, financially, but sometimes "emptiness still fills in your heart". You may succeed in matters of love or relationship, but credit card/bank companies are still running after you, lol... Its just that "nobodys perfect". I guess Bill Gates also have issues in his life even though he's the richest... :-)

I think just about everyone complains about something. Sometimes it's silly things, sometimes it's more substantial. Not many people are truly happy with every aspect of their life at all times. I know I have a good life, but there are still things that I complain about. When I am complaining about something, I try to remember just how good I have it. I try to think of all the complaints I made through out the day at night before I pray. I then think of how trivial my complaints are, and how much better I have it than some people. It sounds cliche, but it really does help a lot. Like yesterday, I complained about my husband switching shifts at work again and messing up our sleep schedule. Then I thanked God that I had a husband that was willing to work to support our family. I complained because I miss my mom and sisters. At least I have a family I can call and talk to anytime I need to. I complained because my son threw a fit when I wouldn't let him eat his grapes until he finished his chicken. I'm very lucky to have my beautiful baby boy, and food to feed him. Also, anytime I get upset because of something he is doing, I try to remember that not every child is able to yell and roughhouse with the family pet. Not every child is able to run around the house laughing like a maniac because he finally caught the cat. And many houses don't have a child to run around the house at all, no matter how bad the people who live there want a child. It's important to keep everything in perspective. Sure there are people that have more money than I do. But there are certainly people that get by with a lot less, too. Sure, there are people that have bigger houses than mine, but there are people that don't have a house at all, too. Yeah, there are people that are healthier than I am, but there are people with a lot more health problems than me, too. Really, my life is good.

So far I don't have friend that kind of type, coz' none of us were blessed with such great thing. It annoying really to see such people around. But to think that again, it's human nature, we human always want more and more, everything is never enough. If you're rich you want to get richer. It's just a matter of how well we thank for what we have. Sometime i compare myself to monks live in thailand or burma, they have nothing, even for food they have to get it from the villager who lives near them.So far, never heard any complain from them.
