yes i would report them and i would also request to be removed from that class and given another teacher, there is no reason for a teacher to act that way, they are there to teach not humilate and be disrespectiful.

I totally agree with you. Report this guy immediately and make sure that you ask to change classes. No teacher should be allowed to disrespect their students.

I vote yes on reporting him. Why? Because he needs to know that he doesn't have that power over his student. He needs to set a good example, and he needs to treat women with respect. If you and your friend don't stand up for yourselves, you will be miserable, not being able to learn, and get very irritated down the line. Don't hesitate! Get your friends involve in this process to. You need to have back-up when you go against teachers. The administrative usually stay behind their teachers, so get plenty of classmates with you.

Are you referring to a college professor or a highschool teacher? I think it may make a difference on how to proceed and who you should be reporting him too. If it's a highschool teacher, I would say go to your guidance counselor and discuss the issues you have with this teacher and see how they would advise you to proceed. I'm sure if you have other students doing the same thing, the teacher would be reviewed and possibly dismissed but you should consider changing teachers at any rate. It could get a bit more uncomfortable if you stay in the same class. Mean teachers make it more difficult for students to learn and if they stay in that teachers class, their grades have a tendency of going down. This is not the purpose of any school and should therefore be reported.

Don't hesistate at all. He's a teacher sohe should be an example for youngers and he's definitely not. Maybe a reprimend from the principal will change him and if not that means he choosed he's occupation wrong, sorry for him :/
