How some discussions have more than 20 posts?

Why others do not? what do you think? Do you thnik that having more friends on your list would give you more responses to your discussions? What is your opinion?

Well, I belive it has to do with the discussions you start. How interesting they are to respond to. I got 34 responds in one I made for a couple of days agoo. I also belive it has something to do how many you respond to on your own. How friendly you are and that sort of things.

I think it just depends on your topic and if you hit a good day where a lot of users are on. I have a decent amount of friends on my list but i've found that almost all of them don't even answer my discussions when i start them.

I'm new to mylot and have only small friend list but i do answer almost all of the discussion started by my friends. How can you make friends if you don't talk to them? :)
