So here we go. The hubby gets a new job out of town. His last check with previous company and his first check with the new company don't come at convient times for us.
I round up with63 cents in my account for a few days there.
Then the truck's tranmission went out. I love driving in reverse , realoly!
So now I'm stuck with the hubby's beat up old mustang with the flat tire. $96.81. Oops don't have the money.
Let's check on the transmission for the truck, shall we. $1400.00. Oops, don't have the money.
Brother saves the day with fix-a-flat.
Car grumpy dies at every opportunity. Won't start on third day. Neighbor does the jumper cable thingy.
Car won't start fouth day. Neighbot not home. Get smart and jump it myself off of the broken truck.
Hubby drives MY car in from out of town. Does tune up on old mustang, Forgot to mention cracked windsheild $381,00.
Mustang happier now.
Drive hubby to airport to fly across country on new job.
Drive home.
Now my car will start, but won't stay running unless I'm pushing on gas pedal.
Back to Mustang.
And in the middle of all the car fun I go to turn the shower off one night and the entire handle and valve system comes off in my hand. I now have hot water spraying into the shower from a pipe in the wall. Oops, no money!
Learn to turn water off at curb, 'cause this is an old house without cutoffs for individual fixtures.
So for now we turn the water on long enough to wash dishes and clothes and take showers. Then I trot outside in my fuzzy pink bathrobe to turn the water off.
Ran into my doctors nurse in the parking lot the other day.
Zoloft is a good thing.
SIGH!!

Mines been like this for about two years. I'm really ready for things to level out.
