why did rico blanco quit singing?

yeah, i think so too. he'll probably go solo or form a new band. maybe he decided to follow the footsteps of their original vocalist bamboo.

i dont know why he separated with the band but on my opinion, i think he just got enough of his singing career., but at least he left the band something for his band mate to remember him., have you ever heard the last song they played together? the song entitled "Sayang"., it's a very sentimental song.,

I read an article a few months back that rivermaya isn't rivermaya without rico blanco. No offense to his former bandmates, but he was the soul of that band since all the songs that became a hit were his compositions. I for one do not know the real reason why he left the band but it's simply sad that he isn't with the band anymore. As a great artist that he is, I hope to see him in the music scene soon.
