Etsy: how does a seller set reasonable shipping prices

Is there are way to set a reasonable shipping price just to cover shipping costs without gouging the buyer and without having extensive knowledge of the US postal system? Anyone know how to setup shipping with paypal. Any suggestions or directions would be so appreciated.

hey, i am from canada and canada post has this neat little gizmo on their website that allows you to punch the dimensions and weight of a package and get the estimated shipping costs...i am sure the us postal service must have somthing similar...check it out.
