I created a new forum yesterday aimed specifically at mums that work from home (either online or offline) that I wanted to share.
Being a single mum who tries to balance working with looking after my kids and house etc I figured I wasn't the only one that sometimes needed a shot of encouragement etc so this forum will hopefully be a good way for mums to get together and help each other out.
It's also for those that are interested in working from home and need some guide or ideas on where to turn or how to get started etc. With advice sections, offline and online ideas etc.
As mentioned it's only really new so it still needs quite a bit of work (different topics etc) but I wanted to share it now in the hopes of both getting some new members and maybe some more ideas of what I need to do with it etc.
I must point out though that it's not a paid to post program or anything so you won't receive any financial payment from being there - instead, hopefully you'll just be able to give or receive some good advice, friendship and have a bit of fun :-)

Well, I see that your forum is still in the infancy and a lot of work needs to be done.. (hey I'm not a mom,ok.. I'm a man..lol) But I like the look & feel of the site and the clearcut instructions on what to do and what not..
I think it would be useful to everyone in addition to work at home moms. I took down your site and wish to post a few informative & useful posts in the near future.. provided men are welcome to share any useful info they have.. Anyway your concept is nice and is a service to all those who wish to make a little extra while not missing their dear ones..
I wish you best of luck... :)
Thanks
Mike

Hi,
Thanks for taking a look and giving me your thoughts - lol you're right that it still needs work - but I'm kinda at the stage where that little extra input on what type of categories etc I need would come in handy
While it is primarily aimed at mums I'm sure I could make an exception or two for the work at home dads as well :-) In this case though I was sticking to what I know - being a mum :-)

Thats a great idea I still can`t make a blog let along a forum , I`ll gladly join so I can maybe learn and hopefully teach what lottle I know ...
As you know I am disabled and don`t work , but I`d love to learn where these other women get their ideas , cause all I do is search and find nothing ...
Thanx I`m sure your site will do very well ...
