Now this is getting rediculous.
I just heard on the news that they are now making a device that will start beeping if you get too far away from your car and your child is still in their carseat. The lady that was advocating this product was saying that accident's happen and sometimes people forget, but I'm sorry. In my opinion, if you're a good parent, no matter what the circumstance is, you would never forget your child in the car, No Matter What. But hey, that's just my opinion, what's yours?

I just posted a discussion similar to this actually. While I don't think there is any excuse to leave your kids in the car and forget them I think this device is a great idea. I wish I had thought of it and got a patent for it sooner. Parents do need to start paying more attention and make sure to check the car seat before leaving the car. But if this device would help save a few kids lives I think it's wonderful. My opinion is that I think it should be mandatory for carseats to have some sort of device like this. I personally don't need it because I always make sure my daughter is with me. Even when she's not out with me it's still habit for me to constantly check the back seat. But I think if this device were made mandatory it would 1. possibly save lives and 2. help catch those parents who intentionally leave their kids in the car to die.

I think it is insane to FORGET your child is in the car. What kind of parent would forget their child is with them and walk away from the car? I know it is happening everywhere but I think, if a parent could forget their child was in the car, an alarm wouldn't do much good. However, an alarm to alert OTHERS that a child was alone in the car may save a child's life.
