Okay here's one of my wackier discussion topics. So many times I come across discussions about food, like what is your favorite pizza topping, cereal, snack, and on and on. And I don't know...is it just me, cause whenever I finished reading one of these discussions all I know is that I'm hungry all over again, even though maybe I just ate a meal a little while ago.
So am I the only one, or do you suddenly have to head for the kitchen to get something to eat also?

Actually, I find that unless the food is sitting right next to me (like I do have candy here) that I am hard pressed to drag my lazy b*tt into the kitchen to actually fix anything. Part of why I never ate last friday - well, i was recovering from that stomach bug, but i wasn't sick to my stomach anymore on friday.

No, you're not the only one that gets the munchies from Mylot. I just got done reading and responding to some food discussions, and I just HAD to get up and go get my stash of M & M's! It happens to me all the time too! Time to get on the treadmill. LOL

No, surprisingly I don't do that. I do eat at the computer, but I'm very aware of how often I eat. However, I do drink a lot when I read discussions like that. I'm constantly drinking water or on occasion green tea. I guess that fills me up so I don't eat.

Did you really make that? It really does look good--guess your cooking is better than your ironing..LOLg

I think spending a lot of time in front of the computer in general and having to write and think a lot does make one hungry

Are you kidding? I have come to believe that eating in general has become fattening! ha ha I had to cut my carbs to control my BGL but then in order to quit smoking and take medication to help me quit, I had to eat the carbs.
Now, I just don't have the motivation to stop eating the carbs and I have gained some of my weight back.
So...is myLot fattening? Yup! All the talk about pizza, donuts, chocolate, cheese cake, bread, pizza, and comfort foods...nope...no will power to cut the carbs again. ha ha

Yup, mylot is fattening! I always find myself reading about food on here and then craving it. It's so hard to be online talking about food and not snacking.
Tonight, since we had such a rough past few days, my husband and I treated ourselves to pizza. And Domino's has this Oreo dessert pizza at the moment, so we had to get that as well as our pepporoni, bacon, and tomato pizza. Oh was it good.
And now, after seeing your post, I think I might sneak one of those last pieces of the Oreo dessert pizza. =P

It was very good! I'm so glad I thought to glance at the website to see what was new before we ordered our pizza, otherwise I would have missed out. I just snuck a piece after this post, and I'm already thinking about having another one. But I think I really should quit. =p

How funny... I didn't even see your reply and I started talking about Oreo's too. An Oreo pizza?!?!? That sounds kinda like my Oreo cheeseburger idea. Was it good?

Hmm... sounds like free advertizing here. I've read about cheeseburges and wanted to run out to McDonald's! But it's the same as commercials, except in those, you get to see teh juicy meat patty with melted cheese and crisp fresh lettace... MMmmmmm
So yeah, there is a person here named Orekcookie and every time I see that name on a discussion, makes me want to run to the store for a package of Oreo's. We are just so suggestive, all anyone has to do is mention something and we start thinking about it, even if it's just subconsiously.
What I wouldn't do for an Oreo cheeseburger!!!
(just kidding, that actually sounds kinda gross. But I'll take some Ores's AFTER my cheeseburger)

No reading about food does not make me want food. What makes my mouth water, and makes me hungry is watching the cooking station. I try not to watch that station because then I want to cook the high fat, high calorie foods that are cooked on the shows.

Oh, yes, cooking shows are a winner. Isn't it good we don't also have "smell-a-vision" that is the ability to smell what's being cooked...LOL

No I really don't get hungry when I read these discussions. I do however find it annoying when they start the discussion, but never really say what kind of food they like. They do however want to hear from others.

No I have to admit I only eat once a day so I can`t say that, but I understand what your saying I love cooking only cause its all I can really do to pass time unless I`m here so thats why I post about food just to get ideas from others cause I need ideas for dinner ...
I`m not saying its only you cause I get hungry after reading them also , but I keep myself at a limit ...

Well I must say it helps me plan my meals! I answer a lot at work--- so luckily for me- I do not have that kind of food available to me! : ) But yes I get hungry—especially with all the pizza discussions! I love pizza!
Thanks for making me hungry again!

hello pyewacket, I think it depends if your spending a lot of time in front of the computer and your always eating. That would make you fat while your posting in myLot. :-)
There's a lot of food discussions here in myLot and most of them with detailed descriptions of good and delicious food. If you read it you might be enticed to search for food or something to eat to satisfy your mind even if your not hungry.
I do sometimes crave for food when I read a discussion about a certain food and I just brush it off. Have to watch my diet, Lolz. :-)
