Friend with benefits

Do you think its ok to have a friend with benefits? If you aren't against it do you think that you should at least know the person for a set amount of time? I think that its every persons decision to have whatever relationship they want with someone, but I don't think its ok to sleep with someone four days after you move in....this guy is renting a room from her...and then start this friend with benefits stuff. I think you should at least know them a little better than that...you still need to know what type of person your dealing with.
