I read on one of the site that Sports Legacy Institute announced the findings of the forensic examination on benoit's brain. They said that Benoit suffered from a brain damage called Chronic traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE). They said that there is a connection between multiple head injuries suffered by athletes and aggregation of abnormal Tau proteins in the brain. Common symptoms of the CTE includes depression, cognitive impairment, dementia, Parkinsonism and erratic behavior. Experts do believe that this may have been a contributing factor in the tragedy.
What do you think? I do agree with the experts that this could be what triggered the tragedy. I hope that other athletes won't suffer the same fate. They should do the necessary steps to prevent this from happening.

i think it makes sense. everyone was so shocked by this and said that he was a real family man and loved his family. it didn't seem to makes sense why he would kill them. i think this information makes sense. i think you are right, others should make sure it doesn't happen to them.

it's good to know that there are experts who are doing researches regarding this condition. It could help a lot of people better understand CTE and means of how it could be prevented.

It makes sense and is more believable than it being roid rage. To this day, I could never understand how it could be that considering the time frame. While it won't excuse what happened, it does however explain what probably happened.

Well, it explains why he did something so different from what people described his personality as.
I think it's good that experts are trying to find out what really caused this incident. I remember when it first happened, the first reactions of people who are not WWE fans, was that he was a monster, or that all wrestlers are monsters and they were so wrong.
I even heard developments that it might have been a triple homicide.
I hear new stuff about this every other day, and I hope we will be able to find out what really happened someday.
