So Where Is My Earned Money? And No I Don't Mean MyLot!!

The one great thing about MyLot is that at least we can see the points we've made and our daily earnings and for that I'm thankful...This is also true of any other paying sites. We can see what we're earning on a daily basis. But what's the deal with this so-called fabulous Yuwie?? According to them we don't get to see what we've earned until around the fifteenth of the month--WHY??
I'm questioning all this since I know many of us MyLotters also have joined up with Yuwie. I mean wouldn't you like to know what you've supposedly been earning by being active there?
Another thing...just try to email any concern you have with them...all you get are FAQs questions and answers but just try to email them personally. Like what's the deal here? Beginning to think Yuwie is full of it.

Hi my friend - well I'm sorry you're having problems. I hate to say "I told you so" but I never joined Yuwie because I was always highly sceptical of it from the first, and maybe I am about to be proved right. Which doesn't make me feel happy by the way if friends have lost time and money over there, but I am always sceptical and cynical of these so-called "new" places. I don't have much time online so I stick just to myLot, because I have good friends here and I know it pays and is "aboveboard". I did go and have a look at Yuwie once out of interest because everyone was talking about it, and I just thought it was cr*p and never went back. In my view you cannot make "good" money on the Internet, and all thede people who say you can are either stretching the truth, or have a very different idea of "good money" to mine! I hope at least you get what you have earned out of them. Good luck!

I said (here) when I joined that I wasn't sure if it was suitable for me, however I have been there a month, and made a number of friends (not any money though), It is a bit more relaxed site than MyLot, but I can't see many MyLot members remaining there when ther earning potential on MyLot is so much more.
The one thing which is annoying me though is that there was a lot of hype about how much you could earn from Yuwie, the earnings might improve, but I doubt it. I reckon that for the same amount of time, that MyLot pays around 10-20 times as much (and MyLot doesn't pay all that much anyway).

Weren't they trying to appear as another MySpace place, a place where you can meet, date and get to know people and get paid is what they said ... I never could figure it out so I gave up, too hard, too complicated, too much work.
Be well, my friend!

I had a look at Yuwie but I didn't like the amount of personal questions that they ask and show on the site plus to me it just looks like a dating site, I think I will just stick with Mylot, I feel comfortable here...

When I checked it out it had all these photos of very attractive people with their ages and likes and dislikes and saying meet people in your area...that was enough for me...

I joined yuwie and have spent about an hour a day there. Yuwie is totally upfront about their payment system although the base figure does change. The July figure was 41c per 1000 page views and the August figure was 47c per page view. Members receive 10% of this. This is set out clearly in the guidelines.
I wasn't very active, and I received a little more than the exact amount I had calculated, because I was expecting a base of 45c. Members with more page views and a downline received much more, with one person I know receiving $96 for the month. I believe yuwie is going places and those in early will reap the benefits in time to come.
Yuwie is friendship based.
I have never seen any disagreements at yuwie. On the contrary, everyone seems intent on helping and encouraging one another.
I have messaged yuwie with queries and suggestions and have each time received a prompt reply. One suggestion was implemented almost immediately and another the next day.
I do not see myLot and yuwie as being in opposition. I believe they are two entirely different types of sites and can operate quite happily together.

I think another thing that can be considered is MySpace, which has millions of members and is growing at the rate of some 100,000 per month. MySpace is more like yuwie, only yuwie is better organised and has more controls on content. My Space pays NOTHING and yet it continues to grow. Yuwie is new, and is paying. It has a great future, and those who join now and in on the ground level.

I actually like Yuwie, now granted my first month I really didn't make jack sh#t and was ready to give up but I let it go on and only ever went on there to check messages or referrals. Well yesterday I checked and I had made $7.17, I was so excited. Granted it's far from the $50 payout but I think it's doable. I think the really big thing is in getting referrals, I have 10 direct and the rest are from them for a total of 1,583 between all 10 levels. I've also gotten referrals from there for other programs. This month I plan to actually pay attention to it more and see if I can't double or triple that amount. I think I'm biased though because I was always a hard core myspace fanatic so I loved Yuwie and have basically dropped myspace. Maybe once they are out of their beta phase then they'll figure out a way to show daily earnings? Try sticking with it a bit and see if your earnings don't pick up your second month in. Good Luck!

Thanks gmakesmoney. I had all but given up on even giving yuwie a try, though I have read that a few people have actually earned a bit of money on the site. Is it time-consuming, or did you make the money in a reasonable amount of time...
Do you have any concrete suggestions as to the best way to maximize your earning potential on yuwie? I would guess that some of the people involved in this discussion are interested in knowing how you made it work for you! Thanks for your response! Do you mind if I add you?
Peace!

I think that's is strange about it too.
I never really expected much when I signed up but just thought I would check it out. I really like it there though and that's why I stay. I like the way it's done a bit better than myspace - though I couldn't give that one up either LOL.
I do wish we could see a running ball park total though at Yuwie. It'd be nice.

You do see it. Your page views are updated every couple of hours. While you don't know the exact amount, you know that July paid 41c and August paid 47c per 1000 page views. It is easy enough to calculate roughly what your earnings will be. I was pleasantly surprised, because I had worked mine out at 45c.

Hi there, i've been hearing more things also about that site Yuwie and i was just tracking some discussions lately and i came across to a discussion that talks about YUWIE and how bad it is.
I am not saying that it is really bad coz i am not a member of that site. I am just telling you what i have red from the discussion of one of the mylotter that also a yuwie member.
According to that person, he have many visitors in his page and etc. but when he saw the earnings that he have earned for the whole month of August, it was only 26cents.
That's why he said that Yuwie is Full of Crap!
Have a nice day ahead from Kiko and happy posting and happy earnings here in mYlot!

Glad you brought that up. Around the fifteenth of this month you should see what you have earned so far (I gather) and I think that would be just for August??? I can't wait to see that - it is hard to see that You have no earnings yet notice.

Okay I just checked...I do now have an "earnings"--What a crock...the way Yuwie puts it where supposed to be rolling in the money like crazy..yeah???? Right. According to the statistics I had a total of 5,971 views of my profile page...and what did I earn...you want to laugh? A grand total of $0.27--are they kidding? I earned 27 cents for one months worth of work there..This is bullcrap

Considering that I earned a whole two cents there last month, I understand why they do not post daily earnings there. If they did, no one would stick around until the end of the month.

I understood going into Yuwie that it was going to be a referrals game, not one I am very good at either by the way, but you know something I found it alot of fun. And you can talk back and forth with each other the same as we do here in mylot, its just different. It will not replace the way we talk and discuss in mylot but I am enjoying it. I have room to do both. I faired at about 31 cents but I came in in the middle of the month. I think its a great place to post your works of art, stories or poetry. There are a couple of clubs at Yuwie I am enjoying and if you have other ventures of on line money making programs its a good place to showcase them.
So I was not disappointed with the earning this month, as I said I fully understand the concept. Its networking with just a little bit of a twist.

It just goes to show, pyewacket, that we can't always judge a book by its cover. Of course these sites are going to promise you that they're the best thing to come down the pike since forever. That is the hook to get you there in the first place. Any paying site should be open and above board where the workers earnings are concerned. That would be the first red flag.

I still really haven't figured out how you earn with Yuwie buy I have earned almost $3.00 and have done nothing but a few page views every day. But I do have referrals down 10 levels that use is alot more. I am glad that they are finally posting earnings so we can determine if it is worth it.

Hah!!!! I knew it...thank you for confirming what I originally said when I was inundated with Yewie requests. My response..Yewie...Patootie! For members who did leave Mylot to go over there they should check out ZenDove's discussion regarding her concerns about their security system and company practices.
Part of the reason I did not join was because they are running in Beta Format and my hubby computer techie that he is said that format is an indicator that Yewie has not worked out all the bugs yes.
VMSK13 also said he has checked Yewie and other sites out and has found Mylot to be one of integrity...and also one that consistently pays their members. So my view is always if something is working why change it or go elsewhere. For me Mylot is my first and only discussion forum. I am happy here and do not plan to leave as long as I am.
From the sound of it more Mylotters are expressing their dissatisfaction with Yewie...but not me-wie..because I'm not going there.LOL
Cheers,
Raia
