Few weeks back my hubby and I visited my son who works in an island. On the way to a Thai Food Restaurant we passed by a beautiful seaside. As it still about an hour earlier to have our dinner so my son stopped the car by the road side and we walked to the beautiful beach. While we were walking along the beach the tranquil sea water really fascinated me and I though of jumping into it eagerly, but I was in proper attire then and I never brought along with me the swimming suit. So the only thing I could do was to sit on the rock chatting with my loved ones, watching people swimming in the sea or playing along the beach. Do you like to spend your summer vacation at the beach? What do you usually do when you are at the beach? For friends who have never been to the beach, please imagine what you would do or think when you come to a beautiful beach? Hi my dear friends, please share your experience and view. Thanks a lot.

hi... we would eat and talk...then walk around. sometimes, build sand castles, collect seashells. also go for a swim... if it's in Boracay, a world-renowed beach resort in our place, there are so many fun activities like banana boating, jetski, etc. so fun and relaxing

Hi shiloh, I don’t know snorkeling. What is the difference between snorkeling and diving? Are they the same? I think it must be an excited activity beneath the water.

I love the sea and seaside. Strolling by the beach in a breezy afternoon will clear all the unhappiness from our mind and release our tension. I had visited an fascinating tropical Island 2 months back beyond the east coast of our country. The sand is so fine and sea water is so crystal clear. It's not easy to find such a good environment, especially in our heavily polluted world nowadays. If there is a chance, I will visit there again.

Yes it's Pulau Redang. It's indeed a tropical paradise where you can enjoy the exotic water sport and relax your mind over there. It's still unpollutedn and not over-developed, although it's been commercialized to attract the tourists. I still think it's worth going.

Truly, you were lucky enough to spend your relaxed and joyful vacation in such a tropical paradise which many of us would be fascinated much. The tropical islands are always to have their peculiarities with their thick greens and warm deep blue water. I hope I could have a vacation there to enjoy the natural beauty of the island.

Strolling along the beach the breeze could be really able to sweep the worries and unhappiness from our mind. Is the tropical island that you mentioned Pulau Redang? I have heard of this fascinating island but have never visited it. I am very much attracted by the natural and beautiful environment there. It is just like the paradise. It’s really true that we could hardly find a totally unpolluted land nowadays.

There is no beach where we live. Sometime we go on vacation to the beach which is far from our place. Once there, we spend most of the time at beach. We do everything for which a person go to the beach.

Though you are not living in the coastal area, you still took all the troubles to travel to the beach for vacation, so I am very sure that you are a sea lover. It is definitely true that everyone could have much freedom there to carry out whatever activities they he wishes. So enjoy your beach vacation whenever you could spare time to do so, kishusia. Have a nice day, friend.

As the world's demand for water has tripled over the last half-century and as the demand for hydroelectric power has grown even faster, dams and diversions of river water have drained many rivers dry. As water tables fall, the springs that feed rivers go dry, reducing river flows. Scores of countries are overpumping aquifers as they struggle to satisfy their growing water needs, including each of the big three grain producers China, India, and the United States. More than half the world's people live in countries where water tables are falling.

Hi soulkeeper16, thanks for providing me lots of knowledge and value personal views about problem of water faced by the modern world, is quite sorrowful to think of the serious consequence related. In my country there are lots of rains. Certain places experience serious flood during monsoon season here especially by the end of the year in the eastern coast of the peninsula. I notice that contamination of river and sea water is much more concerned than the shortage of water in general.

Oh, I love being at the beach. But I prefer not staying there during summer. It's really too warm, and I tan easily, which I'm trying to prevent. When I'm at the beach I usually daydream. hehe. It's just something I can't prevent doing. With the beautiful scenery I just easily get lost in my thoughts. When I'm with friends, we chat, we eat a lot, and sing songs while playing the guitar. We take a swim too, in the late aftrernoon when it's not so warm.

For those who are scare of scorching sun it’s nice to avoid swimming during summer noon. It could avoid sun tan on our body. Wow, you really enjoy with the wonderful activities with your friend in the late afternoon at the beach.

when i go to the beach, i think of swiming. specially on a clear, blue water,i will go directly to the water and swim. eventhough i don't know how to swim that much, i would still go swim because i like the clear, blue beaches. i wish my house will be near a beach. if i woke up in every morning in my house, i would go swiming everyday. i just love clear water you know. one thing i would like to do is to go fishing as my hobby. if i catch a lot of good fishes then i would eat them for breakfast, lunch and dinner. there are a lot of things i could do in the beach. thank god, beaches are created in this wonderful world. thank god there is water in the world. water is so precious, without it, living things would cease to exist. what if in the future we put water to the moon and it becomes a living moon. this would be an awesome idea. i would go swimming in the moon. lol...

As a sea lover, I’m always keen to throw myself into the warm and blue crystal clear water whenever I come across any beautiful beach. Wow! It’s wonderful to have a house nearby... so we could have a swim in the sea whenever we feel like doing so. Won’t you get fed up by taking fish for every meal, my friend? I hope your imaginative suggestion of swimming in the moon could be realized one day. See you by the beach in the moon maxsee212 lol... my dear friend. With best wishes.

I like sitting on the rock watching the tireless waves. I also like walking along the beach. If can, I prefer like to listen music and give my mind empty but most of the time got many people in the beach so I can't do like this cos noisy.

It’s true that beach is a nice place that we could really relax ourselves. The cooling sea breeze, the rushing waves and the vast sea views could always fascinate any person who takes a leisure stroll along the beach. If with music along it’s of course better still for you. I prefer listening to the surfs beating against the rocks rather than the music.

Other than swimming, we still could have lots of other interesting activities at the beach. Yeah, secretbear, it is quite interesting to throw stones to the surface of the water. Every time we visit the beach, my son likes to challenge me to throw stones in the water. He wants to know who gets the more numbers of times (the stone must have at least a three bouncing on the water surface) after throwing 10 stones each.

As far as I know your country has plenty of lakes. They must be beautiful and attractive. I believe your avatar might be one of them. Lakes are the best sites for canoeing as the waves are very much smaller than those of the sea.

When I am at my local beach I like to take a walk along the pier. I enjoy walking along the sea front seeing the pretty views of the two piers, sea life center, unspoilt land that juts out into the sea and another coastline on the other side of the water. My dogs enjoy a trip to a more wild looking beach with sand dunes that they so enjoy running up and down. My favorite sort of beach is a tropical one, with palm trees, golden sand and a coral sea. I enjoy swimming in the clear, calm and warm waters. Most of all like to snorkel and see brightly colored fish and stunning coral. It is so lovely to have hot weather and plenty of sunshine. Although I must wear plenty of sun cream so my skin does not burn.

I really admire the wonderful seascapes you had described. It was just like a beautiful well organized painting of the sea views. I think you might have been enjoyed walking along the pier with your dog in such a beautiful environment. I have not try snorkel beneath the water before. I think it must be great. We could see the wonderful world underneath the sea with beautiful corals, various types of fish, gentle wiggling seaweed......lol...what I had watched in the documentary film.

In India beaches of Bombay are the most famous.I have visited them many times.I like to sit and observe the waves coming near us and again returning back.I also like to play in sand and also walking bare footed on it.In Bombay we get raw coconut which is cut from the top and is full of water, drinking that water with a straw slowly sitting by the side of the beach is really enjoyable.

Watching the rise and fall of the waves and enjoying the sea breezes could be something very pleasant and relaxing in life especially after a hard day work. I do enjoy the raw coconut drinks as well as the soft kernel inside very much.

Lol... yanstill, you made me to recall how I taught my sister to learn swimming. She had been learning swimming for quite some time but still couldn’t get it. One day she followed me to a swimming pool. I found that she was afraid to immerse her head into the water. I then push her head at her surprise until her head totally immersed. Since then she didn’t fear of being under water and soon learnt how to swim in the proper way. So yanstill, I hope the story will suggest some clues to you. I believe you had picked quite a lot of seashell by then. Had you come across any zi bei ke(purplish seashell). It’s believed to be quite romantic lol... Yes, sea signified great forgiveness in our culture. It could be justified from its vast and magnificent features and volume. Facing the vast horizon it could really widen our perspective of life.

I would love to spend summer vacations at the beach, but although I've been there - not in the summer since I was a child. I do love the beach but I more like watching the water - especially in the evening when its cooler. I love water and the feeling of being surrounding the ocean - or any water - on all sides. I felt most at peace on Praia, Cape Verde - I felt like the sun were within me and didn't even mind the heat and on Hawaii. I even dream of water and oceans. I don't like being in ocean water though because of the salt. I can't wait to bring my baby to the beach!

You are really an ocean lover that likes to be surrounded by water. Though I have never been to Cape Verde and Hawaii, from your descriptions I still believe the water there must be extremely beautiful and attractive. As a sea lover, whenever I come across any lovely beach I also couldn't help approaching it.

You are really wonderful to create such a blog for people to learn more information.

I love to go to the beach. I usually swim if the water is warm enough, and I love to lay out in the shade under an umbrealla. I also love to watch the clouds and waves. I also have snorggled which I love to do to see all the great fish. I love watching families with children playing in the sand and the water.

Hello friend! I do visit beaches when I go to my native place in summers. I enjoy there a lot with my cousins. The first thing that comes to my mind when I go to the beach is to play in the water. Actually I walk in the water and sprinlw the water on my cousins. The cousins with whom I go are younger than me, but we enjoy a lot there. Then, there is a restaurant there which is constructed standing in the sea. We have snacks or whatever foods there enjoying the cool breeze coming from the sea and we mostly take the corner table from where we can look down at the sea and the beach. It really looks and feels great. vani^_^

I would like to spend my summer vacation at the beach some day. It is really a very nice enjoyment to be there though I have never been to a beach. That has been my dream, also my wife's. We wanted to go to Xiamen City in Fujian Province last summer, but we gave up later as there was typhoon. Anyway you are so lucky to have your loved son work in an island, which enables you to visit the beach with great interest during your vacation to enjoy the sea breeze and blue seawater.

Dear jisir, my friend, very glad to see you as the first one at the “beach” lol... I live in a peninsula and seas are my good companions. The island where my son stays has one side well developed and the other remains quite natural. It’s situated at the Straits of Malacca, adjacent to the Indian Ocean. I learnt that you and your loved one had planed the Xiamen trip but sadly the typhoon made your dream couldn’t be materialized. There are several famous islands here situated at the South China Sea. The most famous one is Island Redang. The white sand beaches with tropical palms waving in the sea breezes, fringing with foamy surfs and tranquil water dotted with coral reefs with the fading distant blue at the vast horizon could always fascinate any nature lovers. You and your loved one are cordially welcome to honor me and my hubby a visit here at any of your convenient leisure. We will then bring you both to some beautiful beaches here. Besides enjoying the sea views, the delicious sea foods will surely be waiting for you both. Oh, my dear friend, jisir, don’t worry, no typhoon here.

beautiful surfs - The beauty of the surfs slapping on the sea rocks could rather fascinating.
The sea beach is such an interesting place that we could enjoy it actively and passively. Though we don’t like to take active part in the sea we still could enjoy sitting aside watching the sea views especially the beauty of the surfs slapping on the sea rocks. Here in my place many fresh and delicious sea foods are available at the restaurants and hotels around.

Hi lucky_lily, welcome to mylot kingdom and enjoy in this happy and harmonious atmosphere. All friends here are amiable and helpful. Really, sea is very beautiful. Any sea lover could hardly help being fascinated by the charming and romantic seascapes. The moment during the sunset though rather short still remains as the most beautiful part of the beach scenery. The evening twilight is as red as the maple leaf which could really intoxicate and fascinate anyone around.
