In my opinion there is no harm in pregnant ladies going for work if you have the green signal from your doctor. This keeps them active through out the day .But you need to keep in mind certain things like 1.Coping with morning sickness in early stages of pregnancy 2.Avoid getting tired 3.take care of your sitting standing postures avoid stress 4.Avoid working conditions that are harmful like harmful chemicals, prologed standing ,sitting Don't miss to enjoy your baby movements during pregnancy if we take care of the above points I think working women should not have any problems at work regards

I was working till the birth of my kids. That is why I had normal delivery. During pregnancy if a woman remain active then she can avoid complications and have a healthy baby also.

You r right .My parents & grany used to advise me to be busy during pregnacy so that muscles will loosen which will help in normal delivery

This may not apply for all though. You wont need to worry about morning sickness if you don't get it though - i was lucky & had none. You also cant say - Avoid getting tired - during the first trimester your body is working SUPER hard creating a baby in there - you're tired no matter what you do!!! I stayed home & did the usual housework & stuff (nothing major) but was tired all the time anyway! I agree with you though, working is a good thing :) My dr told me something when i was pregnant - he said, you're not a porcelain doll, continue to do everything you normally do! As long as it didn't involve 'contact' sports, i'd be fine. He even told me if i played non-contact sport, that i could continue to play it as exercise was a good thing! Take care to all out there!

yes, i agree with you..working for pregnant unless pregnancy is not ok for women who have difficulty in pregnancy..and it's also depend upon the nature of work. just take good care of your body when pregnant...avoid lots of stress specially, avoid prolong standing and sitting, take good vitamins, vegetables and take a good rest..
