What's the best deal you ever got on jewelry?

About five years ago, I was shopping a clearance sale at the local K-Mart and came across a big box of earrings (maybe 15 pair) for only $2.50. Everything was brand new, but they only had one box left, so they were getting rid of them for practically nothing. Mostly, they were the stud variety with diamond like stones. Some even looked like real gemstones. Of course they were fake, but I figured no one would be getting that close to my ears to check them out. They were very pretty! Very affordable! Best deal on earrings I've ever found.
Not bad, considering the original price was well over $30.00. So, what's the biggest deal or discount that you ever got on jewelry? Did you buy your jewelry at a clearance sale or second-hand? Do you always check out the clearance bin at your local store to see if you can find cheap or clearance sale jewelry?

well the best deal i have gotten was a 2 carat diamond marquise engagement ring on ebay for $1000,it was so stunning and beautiful,i took it to a jewelry store and they told me it was great color and clarity and appraised it for $5000,i was thrilled to hear that so i told the jewler that i only paid $1000 for it and he said omg what a great deal you got.so i came home and thought about that ring and decided that we needed the money more so we put it back on ebay and it sold the first day for $2000 with shipping.so if i find a great deal i buy it and then sell it and i make out great.pattie

iam sameer and iam 18 years old ,i once gone to the jewelry shop with my mom and i have seen beautiful desings in the shop it was too beautiful and the cost was the toppest in the whole jewelrys but if my mom wants some think or wish to take any think she buy it if it too high rate also my father love my mom with heartly and fulfil my mother wish so this was my mom jewelry shopping

My wife buys jewellery from Tanishq a leading jewller in India and price is fixed. Only thing is my wife buys it when it is off season and gold prices are low. comparatively. Otherwise in gold, the price variatin is not much, only for the design one has to pay. In India there are thousands of goldsmiths who make exquisite designs of traditional jewellery.

I have never shopped for jewellery in a discount shop although i sometimes move to tansiq to shop when they are offering discounts but it is a very trustworty brand which provides certificates of purity and diamond quality. I always move to a trusted jewweler as i dont want to be robbed by poor quality of jewellery.

I am a huge clearance shopper. Once I heard that the Family Dollar store in our town was having a huge clearance. I bought tons of jewlery for 10cents a piece. I bought tons of stuff for stocking stuffers and for little birthday gifts for girls. They also had some makeup and stickers in the same 10 cent sale. It was a blast!

Once I bought a gold necklace and a ring, which was a nice deal from a jewellery shop for loving wife together with my friend. He also bought the same two things for his wife. To my happiness, my wife likes them very much and has always been wearing them since then. Right now I am thinking I will buy her better ones later on.
