I love to read on my bed but I tend to fall asleep. When I feel sleepy I sit for a while then go to my bed again. It doesn't bother me at all. With a good book at hand I guesed it doesn't matter at all. Have fun reading!!!

I love to read in bed too but sometimes it is hard to stay awake. I have a great reading chair and ottoman that I love. Its a wing chair and very roomy. I like to read with by dog in my lap and a coffee close by. Especially in winter.

Does coffee really gives you that energy to be more alert? It doesn't work for me so I really have to change position but I don't notice it well since I really enjoy what I'm reading. If someone's watching me perhaps they would be really annoyed.

The coffee really just to stay warm in winter. I live in a country that loves winter. I don't find coffee actually keeps me alert though, usually the book does.

I've used all those positions you mentioned. I used to lay on the floor when I was a child, as I got older I started laying on the bed. Lately, I sit outside on the porch and read. You are right, it doesn't matter as long as you have a good book and you are comfortable.

I really like reading while laying down on my bed. It feels so comfortable lying down with the soft pillow below my head, and a good book on my hands. I can read in that position for hours. As long as I have the time I will read it. However now I am not as free as I used to be. Now I only do light reading which takes about the most one hour per reading session. Previously when I was studying at the university, I had so much free time. At that time the only thing I was responsible for was myself and my studies. I don't have to worry about any other responsibilities such as doing house chores or something like that. I used to go to a book store nearby and bought second hand novels which are very much price reduced. Usually I would buy at least two books at a time. I could even spend two hours just standing there and choosing which books I wanted to buy. The books are so many, and I found so much fun being there. Now the store is still there and the owner is still the same man. Whenever I go downtown I will make an effort to drop by the book store and buy at least a good book. Then when I reach home I would land on my bed and read the books. Yeah, I really like lying down on my bed while reading. That is my number one favorite position.

The most comfortable reading position for me is in a recliner. Something like those beach chair, where the back rest is at a gentle angel, not almost upright. My favorite author is John Grisham and Jeffery Archer. What's yours?

My favorite authors are J.K. Rowling, Nicholas Evans, and Charles Dickens. But it all depends in their piece, once I got interested with the story I also like the author then.

I like to seat when I read. Well, I mostly read when I'm on the bus. Especialy during school season, i spend about 2-3 hours every day in the bus :P But even when i'm home I don't read lying on a bed beacause I fall asleep after five minutes xD

Me too, I easily fall asleep so I avoid reading in the comfort of my bed. I just sit and read my book.

I like to prop myself up with my soft pillows and read. I feel comfortable and cozy and this makes me more comfortable to settle down and read a good book. I love to read before bed. I have quiet time then and can relax.

I usually read in my chair. I have a "reading nook" that I use every so often. If I don't use that... I use the chair in my living room. I also sometimes read in bed but it's a lot more uncomfortable laying down and reading than it is sitting in a nice comfy chair.
