How can people burn there own child?

Recently there was a case near here where the man along with his family including his mother burnt his own sons legs to teach his wife,the mother of the child a lesson.After that they burnt the wife fully.She died later.
How can human beings be so cruel to ther own child or wife.Isn't they have feelings,emotions?I can't really understand there Psyche.

dont try to understand them because you never will. Sometimes all people want in revenge and dont care who they hurt to get there revenge. I agree I dont understand how someone can hurt there child to get back at there wife. It is demented I agree but then again there are too many psycos out there to count.

I wonder the same thing when i hear about stories such as this. And why do people have children if they are going to torture them like that? This man should be locked up in jail. I dont know how he could even live with himself. I think some people just dont care if they hurt others, its like they dont have a heart.
