Everyone likes actors or actresses... You can go around and u can find hundreds of fans of some BRAD PITT or TOM CRUISE or even SALMA HAYEK or ANGELINA JOLIE but the real people who make them stars get a cold shoulder... These are the directors who make them what they are.These are the minds behind the scenes. GO ON.. Post who is your favourite director...Also write some of the movies by that person...

Baz Luhrman, his movies are so different. Moulin Rouge is one of my all time favorite films.

I love the works of Francis Ford Coppola,Sofia Coppola is just as great and then there is Tim Burton who i completely adore for his out of the box vision.

Well my favorite director is not a Hollywood director... by standards. He lives in Baltimore, Maryland his home town. He films ALL of his movies in Baltimore, Maryland. He writes, produces, directs and typically acts in all of his movies. He's had actors such a Melanie Griffith, Sonny Bono, Jerry Stiller and Johnny Knoxville in his movies. His name is John Waters. The big hit broadway turned big hit movie...Hairspray? Yeah that was John Waters before it turned Broadway. I love his movies.
