Here are three new paying sites for all writers out there. They are www.triond.com and http://hubpages.com and www.xomba.com
and are free to join. Triond does not promote referral system, Xomba and Hubpages do. I am not interested in referrals, so go straight to the sites and sign up if you'd like to.
I am not a member of xomba yet, because it takes forever to load. However, I like Triond best, because they post your earnings along the side of your articles with the number of views/clicks.
Happy writing, everyone!

Thank you so much for this information. I signed up for triond. I am looking for ways to make money from my poetry and short stories (previously unpublished). I am also looking for some motivation so perhaps this will give me a push. Thanks again!

You're welcome. Did I have to be a member to make a comment? If I did, then perhaps my activation DID go through. If I don't, then I'm still waiting...
I have yet to hear back from Triond re my email. I thought maybe because I am in Canada that would be the problem though the site does not indicate US residents only. I've tried again but it just doesn't like my email address.

You don't have to be a member to leave a comment. Somehow, your comment went straight to my account, not underneath the poem. Triond is for international writers too.
You can write in any language...I hope you can get in soon. In the meantime, get your poem ready to publish. Have a nice weekend!

Cool! Thanks for the links! I don't really ever benefit from referrals anyway, so Triond works for me! I have never been able to get anyone else to sign up even for mylot! lol
I am at a loss as to what content to create but hopefully I will think of something soon! :)

If you're interested in Triond, then I will guide you through the first step. Do not submit anything that has been published before, including yours own or others. They will decline it for sure. They do accept journal writing, poetry, and short stories, all kind of content. You can read this to see if it sparks any inspiration. http://www.authspot.com/Journals/Why-I-Shop.44050
Just start writing, anything, to set the mood.

Thats a good list, i've heard of the first two but never knew about xomba site.
I don't know why you are not interested in referrals, referrals make you a lot of money and i know that as i'm benefitting from my referrals for many earning programs. For a start its hard to find referrals but once you got a network of moneymakers with you then it gets easy, so build as many referrals as you can.
Even we can do a referral links exchange, i'll join one program as your referral and you join one as my referral, this really helps to build your downline. I'm adding you as friend, accept it and send me a message if we can do some exchanging, i would love to have you as my friend.

I am not interested in referrals because I want to earn on my own hard work, not because I recommended a site. You can read my article about it from this link:

I can add you as friend, and thank you but I will work for my money.

I have heard and signed up for all three, but have yet to write for any of them. I need to get around the web a little more. I write for Gather, Helium, and Associated Content, and now I have a new blog (book reviews I have written). It took me a long time to reach payout with Helium, so I really should explore other options.
Have you written for Constant Content? That's another site that I signed up for but haven't written for yet.

HubPages is easy to write for. It's a bit like helium. You go through the rating system too. And they accept anything. But I can't find my earning anywhere on the site, or account. I am kind of taking a break from it for now. Here is my link to Hub so you can have an overview to see what it's like;

feel free to leave me comments.
I just got an offer for $4.03 for the article from Associated Content. Happy writing!

HubPages is so easy to published articles, but I have mentioned about the paying system before. I can't find earnings any where in my account! I hope you're wrong because there are lot of writers there and some even have 400 articles. It'll be very sad, indeed if they don't pay.

Thanks for the links, IcyCucky. I'll take a look. Did you ever get any payment from them?

There are a few triond writer here on mylot. Your writing have to be originally created by you. So far, I haven't heard of any bad thing about Triond yet. The pay out is only .50 cents, so if you find out that they are a scam, you can also close your account. You still own the rights to your content. They give you a really cool webpage to see your article on. You can look at my article and decide: http://www.gomestic.com/Personal-Finance/Ling-a-Frugal-Life-Five-Areas-Where-You-Can-Save.42488
