What Programs Are A Must Have On Your PC?

I'm a fan of online media and games so I have my list of media players first:
1:Windows Media Player 10
2:Real Player 9
3:Quicktime Player
4:Adobe Shockwave
5:Adobe Flash
6:Java Apps.
Then Security:
1:Avira Personal Edition
2:Adware Personal Edition
3:SmartHide
4:Privacy Mantra
For me thats my Must Have list of programs. Whats on your list?

ME:
WMP10 with DFX 8,it can play everything when K-Lite pro codec is installed even flash videos
For security: Norton corporate edition.it does all he work...both are must for me...remainin games and movies etc..

What is DFX 8? and what about the K-Lite pro codec? I don't know much about the codec's except they help you play media and sound better or period. When you say play everything then that would mean I could ditch my other players, or is some internet media set in stone?
