I have this cute 2 little puppies, i got them a month ago. I love the cartoon TOM & JERRY so i decided to name them Tom & jErry. Tom is colored light brown and Jerry is pure white, they are really cute and cuddly. But my problem is, my mom just bought a "sala set", a new sofa and then my puppies tore the feet part of the sofa into pieces, when my mom knew about it she was really mad and the same time sad, i don't know how to discipline my puppies, can you help me??

Linoge, your suggestion is cruel and stupid, puppies, and most dogs, learn best through reward and encouragement.

you can show them what they done and let them know that you are un happy and scold them and then you have to be very consistant with discipline everytime they do something wrong, but always praise them for being good as well so it is alot of long hard work but alot of love in the end good luck and have a great day.

You don't say how old they are nor what variety of dog they are. But you got them a month ago so I am presuming they are at least 12 weeks old, since dogs should not leave their mother before 8 weeks. Now I see that you are from the Philippines and I know there are cruel breeders there that sell puppies earlier. So they maybe as young as 8 weeks in which case they will probably never develop well.
First of all this is not a matter of discipline; puppies at this age need to be tearing stuff up, it is how they learn about the world so give them lots of toys to play with. For a young puppy anything can be a toy, that they can safely chew and destroy. Old kids toys are excellent.

Young puppies should not be left unsupervised. If you can't keep any eye on them, they should be confined into a crate for their own safety. You can't discipline a dog for what he has already done. A dog does not have any critical thinking skills and can't make a connection between something that happened in the past and the correction he is now receiving.
Instead of letting them run free to create havoc, keep them close to you and when you catch them doing something wrong, give them a command like "No!" and then immediately give them something else to do. Puppies need to chew on things, so maybe a bone or rawhide would be better than the sofa set.
