Where is the best place to be your second home? Australia or US?

I'll be graduating this March 2008 and i am thinking of working either in Sydney, Australia or Los Angeles, California. I've been to these places before but i don't know which is the best place to work and be my second home. I kinda like the life in Sydney. I really feel safe. The only problem is i do not have a relative or friend there. No one to go to when something goes wrong. Got relatives in California though. Need your help!!!

You're from India right? My mom used to work there. I also have plans to go there after i finish my studies.

So there's no need for a second thought of going to LA, as you've said you have relatives there, If it's in my case I would be where I have relatives to ask for help if ever. Some people esp. when having a very intact relationship with you families and friends it's really hard for you to live afar from them. But on the contrary if you wanted to live as an independent make your life the most out of it try living alone or far away from relatives and friends cause I bet Family and friends were always at your side for the past time of your life.
