Do you know where to buy $1.00 T-shirts?

Here's a frugal tip for saving money on kids and adults T-shirts. Really useful, especially if your family lives in a warmer climate. Recently, I found a local thrift shop that sells surplus T-shirts for one dollar each in a variety of sizes, from kid sizes to extra large. Most times the T-shirts are brand new and have some type of company logo. My little kid and spouse don't seem to mind too much. The shirts wear just as well as the fifteen dollar T-shirts from Walmart and last about as long. And, after the one dollar T-shirt has lost it's usefulness it gets recycled into cleaning cloths or goes into the trash. And, all I've lost is one dollar. If you can't find really cheap T-shirts at a local thrift shop, you might also check the Goodwill or Salvation Army in your area. Don't forget to shop around to various sites as most will have a different selection in each area. And, that means more chances to save money on casual clothing. If you have a frugal tip to save money on casual clothing, please feel free to share.

Target and Old Navy have GREAT clearance sales. I especially love Old Navy, I get t-shirts there for .97cents, and jeans for just a couple of bucks. I love Old Navy clearance! Target has good clearance too, shirts for 2-3 dollars and jeans for 4-10 dollars. Not to mention their home isle clearance; Bathroom stuff and sheet sets, comforters and pillows, candles and cookware. I love target too:) Salvation Army is a great place to get glass dishes, they are usually in perfect condition and super cheap. If you have a value world near you, they have soso prices but they always have a coupon for half off everything, so then you can get some excellent deals. I love a good deal. :)

I buy T-shirts from the Thrift shops all the time.....My kids don't like the Company Logos on them so they take the sayings off their old t shirts and Iron glue them onto the new ones, covering up the old logo....they also like to do tye dye so they have a ball decorating their tees

Here in our place there are lots of bargain t-shirts. We have here even 3 for $1.00. Of course it is made of low class materials, but as you were saying, after several use it can be use for polishing and cleaning furnitures and all the dirts inside and outside our homes. Also in our place there are lots of bargain areas where you can find bargain at its best. You must only know the place and you must also knows how to haggle. We have lots of bargain materials here in our place. I do buy those kind of shirts in addition to some of my branded shirts.

Right now in this season, many summer clothes are on sale in shops. It is a good season for bargains. It is cool that you can get 1-dollar shirts for your family.
