do you feel ashamed of being poor?

You should not feel ashamed of being poor, it is hard times all over the world unless you are on top of the hill so to speak, you may not have a lot of money wonerful1 but you are probably rich in many other ways and when you do get something a little special you will appreciate it, sometimes I think being rich is not really being happy, only in a material way...

wow , I don't think it is a bad thing to be poor.To be honest i felt ashamed of being poor when i was young. While i graduated form school and have a experice of social , i come to understood that i dont and shuldn't be ashamed for this. In the contrast , it is a wealth of my life. It make me premature and create my character. It gives me courage to confront everything. Whatever have happen in myself,i will never give up.

I wouldnt and never have been ashamed of my finacial situation...I've felt bad that I couldnt do more for my kids back when I was below poverty level and I REALLY hated having to send them away for a month to live 4 hours away with their grandparents but such is life...Instead of being ashamed, since there really isnt any reason to be, work on finding ways to change the situation...its hard to do but not impossible by any means....I've been homeless, lived far below poverty level and so on...Try to stay positive of the situation and do what you can to change it..evne the smallest change is a start and can do wonders ;-)

My dear everyone is poor in this world, if we think on that line and everyone is rich in this world, if it is thought on a positive note.

you should not be ashamed being poor. you may not have enough money and cannot afford to buy anything but it's not the end of the world. you can be rich in other things like friends, family etc. just remember money and being rich does not mean a person is happy. remember money is not everything.

Never feel ashamed of being poor.not everyone is rich from the beginning..they all work hard to earn it.so u shd get rid of this thinking that being poor is smthg to ashamed of..i never did bcoz i know someday i will make it big..lolz.. Gd luck to U,wonderful. Gambateh

Hi, How are u, Dont be embrassed of being poor, if u r working hard amd sincere and earning ur living, then u should be proud of it, And if u keep on working hard with determination, u will not be poor any more, then u can buy snacks for other. Ok

Why should I be ashamed? If I barely had enough money to survive on, I expect my friends to understand that I'm having problems and understand that while I can't do anything right at that moment, as soon as I am able, then I will willingly join in with buying round of treats or drinks for them. Anyone who doesnt understand that there are times when everybody struggles isnt worth knowing in my opinion.
