20-20 world cup

i wont be surprised if australia wins this event too. but all i care about is lots of action and exciting matches instead of the boring, one-sided matches.

the favorites has to be Australia. for me the other contenders for the title will be NZ or south africa as hey have experience of playing more 20-20 matches. if india hopes to win the 20-20 then it must raise its fielding standards. for me they are the dark horses.

I believe that of all teams only Australia has sent a regular team for the world cup. The rest of the teams have sent what they think are specialists for the 20-20 games. It remains to be seen as to what would be successful. I feel that my top favorites are Australia and West Indies. England have missed a beat by not taking Mascrenhas. I believe he could be a match winner for them in this format!! Cheers! Ram

I think, Australia will win this first ever 20-20 world cup. They are the team who is in form for over 5 years. So, there is no doubt that they will win it. India, South Africa, Sri Lanka will fight for second place.
