I like Fabrigas. He has lots of skills and he is getting better and better. He has started to take shots from distances and has already scored this year. His confidence is
growing too. But I don't think that he is ready now to be the captain. It is because he is not yet grown up to take such responsibility. Also he shouldn't take the opportunity to be the captain if he gets, because he has to concentrate on improving his game at his age. Am I talking too much?

I agree the man is very committed to the club-he has turned down the alure of high pay in big teams-that is the attitude guided by principle which makes me admire this young man-he is not like the unpredictable Trevez-who left Argentina as if destined to Arsenal only to make a surprise moe to Westham, were his contributions did not ammount much, and before long he is jumping in bed with Fugerson of Man.U

I agree that Fabregas is a fantastic player, but it is too early to think of him as a captain. He does have some attributes for the job, like class and a cool mind. But, then that alone does not make a good captain. You need to have that extra bit to gel a team and also have the guts to lift a team or take a underperforming member to task.
Fabregas still has to learn a lot. I believe that it should be around 25 that we need to see whether he can be a candidate for captaincy.
Cheers!

True, the guy, inspite of scoring at every match, still needs to be of age, 24-25 would see him fit for team leadership!

Ya he will be the captain in a couple of years. He is still to young to be the captain now but in a 2 years time it would be the perfect time. Fabregas is going to be another Arsenal Legend, I am damn sure about that.

You are right...this guy started playing in the Arsenal first team at the age of 17 (when most guys of his age dont even dream of playing at 17)...and he took the responsibilities really well...the guy has a good passing range, can shoot from distance too.He is good at set pieces and most importantly his gameplay suits Arsenal too. He has quick feet and playing with players like Henry and Viera has done his confidence a World of Good!
I think it's too early for him to be made the captain,he's only 19 at present...may be in the coming years,if at all he stays at Arsenal,he'll be a good captain too :)

Yeah the toung man from the outlaws of barcelona young wing has splendid skill and talent with him.
But he is not taht matured to take up captaincy now when we have better veterans like gilberto and all.

The guy scores in every match and at this rate, if he lives with Arsenal for as long as Henry did, he may surpass the all time record of goals Henry scored for the club!
