Another Scam To Watch Out For

There's yet another e-mail scam going around. If you are an ebay seller, or even if you are not, you may get an e-mail that looks like it's from Ebay. It says you are a "power seller" and that you can have the words "power seller" inserted after your ebay identification so that other ebayer's know you are a power seller. If you click the link in the e-mail, it takes you to the ebay sign in. Whatever you do' don't go beyond that point. You will be taken to a page that will ask for sensitive information like your paypal and/or bank and/or social security information. Thankfully, I was warned about this prior to my opening the e-mail, but I just wanted to warn fellow Mylotters since I know many of you also use Ebay.
I was wondering if any of you have come across any other e-mail scams to look out for. Is it me or does there seem to be more or more of them cropping up each day?

They takeout cash from your credit card at will and call it subscription, which they do not say beforehand. If you try to unsubscribe, they charge "Monstrous amounts"! I'm not even signed up with Ebay & I still get what looks like authentic ebay messages despite that I'm not a member. I am sure that ebay has a special email address just to report spoofing & phishing to. Paypal does, & they're owned by ebay.

I've been selling on ebay for years and I'm soooo used to these scams! I don't even bother reading them any more because I know what they are. I have ebay's spam address in my address book and just forward it to them. Your right there are more and more popping up every day. I guess it's just "the nature of the beast"....the internet!
