Am I the Only One Sick Of Hearing About Celebrities?

I agree. It is extremly tiring to have to hear about these people all the time. I really do not care about what they do or do not do. I have better thigs to think about and do with my time. Even though I spend endless hours at home alone in front of my laptop I never look up any gossip news. There are plenty interesting things to occupy my ind with. I severely dislike seeing celebrities in the papers for silly reasons too. I don't care what any of them are doing and that definitely includes Paris Hilton and her cronies, and I think that there are more interesting things for the media to report than the embarrassing moments of the lives of celebrities. I don't care if people enjoy hearing about it, and I feel that it should be confined to specific magazines, so that those who like it can indulge their obsessions in private, and keep the "gossip" to themselves as it is not clever, interesting or funny to give a verbal update of the latest rubbish printed in the glossy mags and dissipated via most other media channels as well.

People are fascinated with the "fabulous life" of celebrities, and I think they always have been -- not just since 9/11. I, personally, AM sick of hearing about it. I have my own life and don't really care what is going on with some celebrity. I don't even know half the time who some of these celebrities are, nor do I care.

i completely agree. their jobs is to act or sing or whatever. they are just regular people like you and me, just with more money. some people think that rich is great. it's not. it just creates different problems. and who cares how they deal with their problems. as long as they put out quality movies that's all i need. now when they start to put out crap movies and expect a $20mill paycheck then they shouldn't be given the opportunites. there are plenty of no name actors out there that are just as dedicated and not greedy.
