I know how you feel with this one. My son didnt train fully until just after he turned four years old and the comments friends and family gave me drove me wild!
I knew that potty training had to be in his own good time but my family and friends kept on nagging me as to why i hadn't trained him yet and started giving me advice on how to do it! I wouldn't mind but i had already potty trained one child so I think I knew what I was doing dnot you?
The best way to train your son is to take things slowly and surely. Don't push him at the potty because that will just make him even more stubborn. Take your time and get him used to the idea that he is growing up a little and it would be a good thing to use a big boys toilet, that kind of thing.
When he's ready, he'll walk away from nappies and not before no matter what you or anyone else wants him to do lol, just keep on trying!

The best thing to do is put him on the potty every now and then, but don't push. He's gotta do it in his own time. If you push too fast, you can have some negative consequences -- I've known people who pushed their kids and their kids started developing what was essentially a bathroom phobia. So they'd go elsewhere but not necessarily in their diaper/pants.
