Quantity vs Quality Post - Which one affect your earnings the most?

Many members said you have to post as many as possible if you want to get higher earnings, but some said it's not about quantity, but it's all about your discussion and posting quality. If a member rated you positive, then your post has more quality and you can earn higher or when you response to a discussion by being as descriptive as possible which means using more details and more words, you'll get much more earnings.
I'm much confused about this. I saw some members earned less than 10 penny a day even though they post many response. But I saw some members can earned more than $1 a day. So what's the best way to earn in mylot? Which one affect your earnings the most?
I myself earned about 25 c per day by 8 responses to discussions. Sometimes up sometimes down. Wonder why? Anybody have the clue? Kindly please share it here...

Like in our every day life, it is the quality posts alone that contributes to the earnings at mylot. This ia good topic and not many people follow this rule. There are some people who ask big questions\ and when you respond, their reply is one or two words of thanks.Nothing more. It is difficult to predict how the mechanism works here. But keep in mind the following:
1. post high quality discussion topic which is thoughtprovoking
2. Give meaningful and useful responses. Let it be reasonably lengthy.

You are right, my friend ssh123. Good quality is not determined by the length of a post or response. It all depends on the contents. :) I'm sure you are experienced in it. That's a good advice! Really good! Keep on posting high quality post.

I don't have the exact clue about it, but I would rather pay more attention to the quality of the posts in the first place while I am trying to get the post numbers to go up. I think that this topic of is a quality one with enough content in it, so descriptive for mylotters to respond to. It is always better to have more lines than just one or two sentences when you respond to a discussion, I think. Keep up, friend.

Hi william.
Lately, I've been paying attention to my post and discussion. I found out that the more you post and response on your own topics, you will earn lesser.
For example :
discussion post - $0.02
1st response to that discussion - $0.01
2nd response to that discussion - $0.005
and so on...
And the longer your response to others discussion, you will earn more.
Is rating affect your post? Hmm... I don't have a clue..

Oh, I am interested in your new discoveries. I think that it sounds reasonable. I still remember the day before I posted my new discussion, the topic of which is, "Breakthrough--my earnings today is $1.26. It is really gorgeous.", I was responding to discussions only. I responded to discussions one after another. The whole day I was responding to my very good friend ssh's discussions because he was keeping posting new discussions and I was keeping responding to his new discussions. I was so crazy that day that I didn't take a nap even I was so tired. I am right now laughing at myself for my crazy action that day. Anyway I got lots of pleasure from mylotting. I hope that you will have more new discoveries and will later give comments here so that I will get informed. I think I am going to take a nap now. A little tired. Good day, friend.

quality posts affects our earnings. when you amke quality posts, your earnings increase a lot. quality posts are those that are very descriptive and long. those one liners dont contribute anything to our earnings. and yeah, i think to be rated positively affects our earnings positively too. ^__^

Quality offcourse really matters here in mylot for a better earning and great reputation points to increase star value.
i always concentrate in quality post and discussions.Never just write something weird to earn money.yes, true ..inorder to earn more you need to post in a elaborate manner but see that your post is of good quality.And you earn more for posting discussions rather than responding.when our responses are of good quality mylot pays a decent sum per response.so go ahead and happy mylotting.

Well...quality is really important.mylot have really "mysterious" pay.nobody really knows how to earn.from the experienced mylotters, they all mentioned about quality is more important.i believe that it's true.

Well... blackie my friend. Like you said, it really have mysterious pay. I'm trying to find out what determine our earnings. Is quality really important? What post considered as high quality? Is it because it's been rated? Well... or maybe long response? (probably this one...) Hahaha...

myLot pays its users for contributing.. now we the users cant contribute something silly and expect myLot people to pay us.. i suggest that you should be a responsible contributor.. respond to discussions which have some value.. some meaning.. you responses to casual discussions are left to you.. you decide.. select your discussions.. the discussions are based on your interests.. some of your interests may have good commercial value.. while some are casual.. some silly..
cant blame you.. they are your interests.. look out for your own commercial interests.. take up those discussions.. this may help you..

I think a quality well written post will mean better earnings. Several factors go into our earnings including how many best responses, number of pictures posted, number of responses to the questions we each ask and writing a detailed quality response.

Quality relates with how many words you use in your response.
The more paragraphs and words, you'll earn more. It's the time we should write better discussion and detailed explanation in mylot community.
