YUWIE can we make the earnings better.

it seems to me that a lot of people on Yuwie (with a couple of exceptions) were very disapointed in the amount they earned last month using Yuwie.Having looked at how my own 12c was made up, 11c from my own efforts & 1 c from my downline, I can see that unless I can get many active referrals, then I will take around 40 years to reach cash out if my own level of activity remains the same.
Most people do not have the marketing skills to get many referrals, and even if they do, I cannot see many people remaining members for this site, especially as it is being advertised as a site where you WILL get paid for social networking, so even those of us who have managed to get a very active downline will soon see a massive decrease of earnings very quickly, unless the amount that they can earn will increase.
I have proposed to 'Y' Guy at Yuwie, that he changes the percentages that people get for their own efforts to between 25% & 50%, which will give them an added incentive to earn, this will obviously be at the expense of money earned from referrals, I suggested either removing the levels which pay 4% (thereby decreasing the number of levels), or cuting levels 3,8 & 9 to 5%, and possibly cutting the other levels by 1% each. For people to actively want to remain on Yuwie to get paid, they need to have the potential to reach payout every year for their own efforts.
There are a couple of people who may object to this as they have been very active and getting a massive downline, but if they stop and think about it, disgruntled members soon become non members if they do not see any reason for continuing.

You know I love chatting online but I haven't been very busy on either Yuwie or here of late - nothing to do with money or not wanting to be here - but because I haven't been very well and couldn't concentrate! I think your suggestions are fantastic - most of my earnings came from my downlines - I only referred them because I thought they might enjoy it - not because I wanted money! I agree with you - maybe we could get paid a nominal amount for active referrals and then earn from what we do by ourselves - it makes more sense to me that the harder we work the more we earn - rather than earning off the back of others! Good idea sweety! xxx

Thanks Mo, I have a reasonably well-paid job (in fact just taking a large voluntary pay cut), so I'm not on either site just for the money, however I can see that a large number were unhappy, and I want to help make suggestions that would allow them to stay, not to just leave if they are unhappy as some others suggest.

First of all, I don't see where someone has the right to join a program with all of the information on the type of earnings they will receive, and when they see that they or their refs haven't made enough effort to earn what they hoped for, ask the website owner to change the structure of the program they designed. That's ridiculous.
If you don't feel that you are able to get referrals, why did you join a referral-based program?
If you're not earning what you would like to earn, get more people to sign up under you. That's the bottom line. Y Guy does not have to change a thing, nor should he.
It is totally unbelievable that someone would join a website and tell the owner to change their program structure just because they don't have enough referrals to earn the kind of money they want to earn!

Yuwie clearly states what you are paid for... which is your page views, and your referrals' page views.
Common sense will tell you that you can't do thousands of page views a day all by yourself. You need referrals. Yuwie tells you that also.
I'd watch the video with the guy who tells you what to expect again if you're not sure.
I can appreciate that you are trying to keep people thinking positively about Yuwie, but changing it is not the answer. You need to focus on getting referrals who are going to add good content to their pages so they get more page views.
I'm just saying that we need to give the program a chance and if we work it right, we will reap the benefits in a shorter amount of time than you think. You just need leverage. It's like that in any affiliate program.
Thanks for responding back to me, and good luck to you on Yuwie.

I agree with everlasitng.. Yuwie is a site that has the potential of growing like myspace.. When that time comes those members who hadgave thair faith and trust to the site will reap the fruits of its success.. I also joined Yuwie knowing all the FAQS and understanding how the site works in terms of earnings and referrals.. So im not really disappointed of my earnings considering the fact that the site is still on its second month.. Mylot went through this stage too and so are the other paying sites.. Just give Yuwie a chance and it will soon give you what you've expect from it.. Some members joined the site without even looking at the FAQS and all of it, and now they got the gutts to run their mouth saying rude things about the site.. If they aren't happy of the site, then they should just delete their accounts..
