I finally got a job!!!!

Well, after all those interviews and all those discussions about interviews, and interview outfits, I finally landed a job that I think I would love to do.
Basically I'm a membership Advisor at a new place called "Dream Body Center", which is a new concept of working out and supposedly get your dream body, within months of joining. My job is to recruit new members and also learn about the workings of the center as well as perform receptionist and secretarial duties.
I have to say I did have to go to the very dreaded and much hated second interview that I don't like, but since I got the job, I guess I could say it was worth it. I'm supposed to start on the 16th of this month, and I guess I probably won't be spending as much time on my lot as I used to and that's sad.
What am I making? Well, I'm gonna be making 300BD plus commission which amounts to around 850$ + per month. It's not great, but it's something, and I would probably get more in future, if I do a good job, that is.
Well, just wanted to share this info with you guys and say thank you to everyone who wished me luck.

Yeah, I know what you mean, there's always a way and it's never too late, to do anything, but my interests have actually changed now, and there are other things I want to do, I think our ambitions change throughout life, at least mine do, and so I change alongwith that.

Its not too late vega! You can still do it!!
Im keeping a positive outlook. I just live in a small town with not many openings and a car that is not up to par to be driving too far of a distance. Just puts me at a disadvantge right now, but Im very hopeful when it comes to my future. Things will work out for the best!!

Well, it depends on where you start out from, if you're average, then of course you could have your dream body in months, also depends on what you think your dream body should be like.
Wow, I'm already marketing this and standing up for it. I guess I will do good then.

I will be starting my job searching in a few months and hopefully I will get something I like too! For now, I love working on the internet *laughs*.

Yeah, I love working on the internet too, there's nothing like it. After all, where else can you work in your pajamas, right? I love it, but unfortunately you can't make a living working on the internet, at least not where I live, so I guess a regular job is the one for me. Well, good luck in advance for your job hunting.

Yeah, of course I'll keep you guys updated.
And I don't think that dreaming big is a "problem" at all.
I am the same, the job is just a way to get to my other dreams. I mean you need some resources to follow your dreams, right. Good luck with your dreams too.

I'm also glad you found one that you will enjoy, because if you love your job you will stay at that job. An added bonus is that you will be a happier person too, not dreading going in on Monday's. Congrats on your new job. Now you can get out of job hunting mode for a while. Sounds like an interesting position. If the Dream Body Center is willing to put you out in front as a recruiter, I imagine you might already have a dream body. Keep up the good work.

Yeah, it is an interesting position. Well, I'm pretty happy with my body already, but of course, I admit, it's not the dream body yet. It will be once I actually start working, the place is still under construction, but the interesting bit is that I've signed the contract so I'm still getting paid monthly, so I'm enjoying it already.
I'm sure I'll be enjoying it even when it starts.

That's great to start with, it's not just sitting down and dreaming of getting what you want but stand up to the challenge. Getting the experience and earning makes it great for future opportunties and that can make you earn more than expected. good luck.

Rather than worrying about the money, I think it is best to be doing something you like. It sounds like you have opened the right door and who knows where it could lead you. I feel that if you are going to work, it might as well be doing something you really have an interest in doing. Maybe look at this job as a starting point toward moving to your true dream job. Eventually, the money will flow.

Hey i am really happy for you about the job. Not working and being at home is a nightmare. I am working since i know my self. Even while going to school. I can not sit at home. Working makes people energetic. So congratulations !!!!

Yeah, working is great, but I enjoy my time at home too. It's no nightmare for me, whenever I'm at home, I discover a new part of my personality. Last time I was on a hiatus, I took up painting, and this time, I was introduced the wonderful art of guitar playing, so I love being at home, and a job is good for the money part, but I've discovered most of my dreams at home itself.
thanks for the good wishes.
