Is MAC OSX better than Windows XP?

I have a windows pc. Now as the new os have come out I want a apple imac to serve my needs. What do U think will it be better to buy an imac or it will be a wastage of money for me as i all ready have a PC?

OS/x definately runs circles around windows. It is far more stabel and secure. Viruses and spyware and such are almost unheard of and hardware gets along much better with it. More and more software is now mac compatible too. The only draw backs are, not all software is compatible yet and some hard ware is still not supported yet, but over all, mac is far better.

i agree with xfahctor.
i would only recommend Mac for those doing graphic work and also movies.
For gamers, Windows are for you. It's sad that Windows could be heard on Windows almost everyday.
