Do you cover your mouth when you yawn? Were you taught or was it just natural?

I must confess, I don't normally cover my mouth when I yawn, but I try not to yawn in someone's face. That is just plain rude to do that.
My parents never taught us, so we never really bothered to do so. I think it is harder for someone to learn this habit as an adult than it is for a child who has had it drilled into him or her at an early age.
That being said is it an automatic reflex for some to cover thier mouths when yawning, even when they're alone?
Is this normally a habit that is taught at an early age or does it comes naturally to some children?
One lady told me she had a 1 year old son who covers his mouth when he yawns and he was never taught to do so, perhaps he just picked it up from watching his parents, but she doesn't really know for sure.
Any thoughts?

O.K. so you just made me yawn.lol.And I did not cover my mouth. But I usually do when I am am in the company of my friends.I guess it is politeness. But when I am at home I usually don't.I guess I am just comfortable around the people I live with.As for the child I think you are right,he probably picks it up from his parents.I guess they taught him well to be polite.
