scams on the internet

I have just been reading through a very interesting report from www.ripoffreport.com which lists a number of websites I have seen mentioned on mylot. I was just wondering if mylotters take the trouble to check out prospective home business opportunities before parting with money or just sign up for them because they sound believable. As someone who has joined a few of these and never had much luck with earning any money from them I thought I would just mention it. Any one else got any views on this?

Personally, before I sign up for anything, I will do some research into it. Since I have a family to take care of and money doesn't grow on trees, I can't be just throwing away money and hoping the program works. I need to be sure before hand if it's legit or not. If it's a free program than I will take the time to work towards my first payout and wait till I get my first payout before I will start referring people to whichever site I have signed up for.

I agree with you I have tried many different online opportunities in the past. I have tried everything from diet patches to air purifying systems and have not had a good experience with anyone of them. I have however started working with GDI over the last couple of months and I must say I have done far better with this company. I don't know if it is I beleive in the product I promote or what. But what I can say is I enjoy selling it and look forward to going out online and off line to promote GDI. If you are not familiar with GDI we sell DOT WS domains and server space for people who are looking to start their own website. If anyone is interested in more information about GDI just let me know. Either way good luck to all with their internet ventures. My Income For Life www.jaxdomain.ws

I think that most of the online "get rich quick" or "make money fast" schemes are scam's! I once registered for a survey site (cost me $30) that promised me surveys that would pay something like $50-$80 a survey. The sites they provided me were sites that could be found on any search engine. In fact, some of the sites they provided me with, I was already registered to. Take my advice and stay away from those guys, they just want to rip you off so THEY can get rich.

i heard too about mylot that it can be a scam such as it paid in the past but now it didn't pay..i don't know in reality because i joined yesterday so..!!i think the idea behind mylot is very interesting earning program in the net..i think that money to pay users mylot can gain because i think the majority here don't reach the payout monthly!! personally about online earning programs in the past i was paid already from different sites and systems surely every program is about on your own risk because also a big society could be a scam ...but seeing that everything is free to join,to use,i think you can proof it and try to make money as well!!surely all sites which they promise big money in the net as 1000$ monthly are scam as many others who sell e-book for online earnings and like that.. i hope that mylot will pay..if not they ruin a good service and idea in my opinion!!

No, Mylot is legit. I have been paid every month for the last 8 months. Ok, income has dropped recently but they still pay on the dot. Oh yes, and welcome to mylot!

Yes, I have also been ripped of a few times, but maybe it is all for the better, as I have now decided to concentrate on writing instead of trying to invent with other things. I have taken note of the address you gave, thanks!

Well, I have been scammed before. Atleast the money they got was just little. But the sad part of it is because that money was from my earnings here in mylot. It is painful because you have to post a lot to earn one dollar but this scammed people just get it that easy. Well, lesson for me is to try to search first. I hope I will not get scammed next time.

My basic motto is that if any service on the internet requires me to pay, it's probably a scam. Anything that asks you to pay $X to get $Y, where Y X, is a scam. Anything that sounds too good to be true... probably is. The only exception are websites from established companies - they have an image to uphold. Don't expect to make a ton of easy money on the internet - if it were really that easy to make money, money would have no meaning at all in the world.

we have to make sure something is leagal before we join. right? money is hard to earn and it's easy to spend it. So, we have to be careful with what we deal on the internet.
