I think Yi cannot as better as Yao these years,he is too thin,he should try his best to adapt NBA and to be a good NBA player.In the furture,as better as or better than Yao is possible

I think he will become a good player after he has been in the league for several years but I doubt he will be better than Yao Ming. He has a lot to learn plus they said he has a lot of weaknesses and he is playing for a team that he really does not want to play for either. Hope he does well.

yeah.I also don't think he will be next Yao,because they are in the different position,Yi is Forward.I think he is too thin and not strong enough,he should get himself stronger and stronger,I think he will spend 2 or 3 years to adapt the NBA.

in my opinion yao ming is just a case in nba..and all chinese will come there trying to follow steps of yao are only a commercial goal fro sponsors and franchises and not much more!!

i've watched him play basketball before.he's a tall guy but of course not taller than Yao Ming.he is still a rookie.for 1st season,i think he won't be do as better as before.he haven't adapt to the new environment and stage like NBA that every player is high quality players.

Yi Jianlian won't be next Yao Ming.He will no better than him.
