True Love Waits!

"Wag muna," is a Filipino phrase for "Not yet," "Hold first," or "Wait." In the Philippines, there's a movement that advocates the value of waiting for God's perfect match, for 'preserving' oneself or keeping oneself pure until marriage.
Purity is such a big word in the Philippines, a predominantly Catholic nation, it is interesting to note the difference between the young people of today from the teenagers of yesteryears. Whether it could be directly attributable to the advancement in technology or not, "purity," is slowly becoming an ancient word or just a dense cloud in the air -- unreachable or unattainable.
But there is hope! A million times, "Prevention is better than cure," has been used to denote the coolness or advantage of being forewarned and forearmed. And it is my personal belief that perhaps, this is what American missionary, Derek Ross, had in mind when he brought his family with him to reside here in the Philippines and work on imparting the message of a loving warning to young people to WAIT upon God and pursue a life of purity.
True Love Waits workshops are geared towards helping young people understand the effects of their choices and why it is a wise move to patiently wait. It also has interactive activities where participants get to think of what they want for their future children and future mates, when the right time comes.
For those who are interested to know more about "the art of waiting," and what True Love Waits is all about, you may visit the website http://www.wagmuna.com.
Happy posting everyone.. :)

That is such a beautiful message. Why would anyone want to squander the fruit of their youth on a wrong relationship? People who rush their hormones are inevitably trading a few moments of so-called bliss for what could have been a lifetime of contented happiness. Thank you for sharing your sound ideas and an inspiring site.
