Direct TV Vs. Digital Cable

Hi,
Which do you think is better: Direct TV or Digital Cable? I prefer cable, but my husband has Direct TV for the boat he works on. So yes, we pay about $150 a month for both. Which do you think provides the best service? Does Direct TV still wigg out when you have bad weather.
