Oops I have a problem

My six year old Son, was to start schooling after the Summer break last week. Since he had fever I didnt send him to school. Got some medicine from the Doctor. HE was alright in three days. Yesterday, when we were talking about him going to school today, he said that he cannot go to school because he is not well. And last night again he was having fever. I am just wondering whether this fever is a psychological effect or whether he is actually running a temperature due to an infection.
Has anyone experience any situation like this. How can I really determine. Can anyone help me out, if this is really a psychological problem.

Hi there.
I am just an Aunt so I can only say that without using the use of the Thermometer or Your own way to knowing whether they are sick then I guess that You wouldn't know. I would hate to be a kid and Mum and/or Dad saying that I was well enough to go to School or Kindy when I was really sick still. I hope you get the right answer for this Question. I am sorry I was little or maybe even No help to this Question.
