Fasting month. This Thursday will be the first day of Ramadhan. Ramadhan is a month in the Islamic calendar. This holy month, Muslim all over the world will refrain from eating and drinking from dawn to dusk. Not only they refrain from the physical sacrification, they are also required to abstain from wrongdoing and encourage to do good deeds to others like giving alms, tithe and provide food to the poor for them to break their fast. Further, a special prayer will be held every nite at all masjids over the world. This particular months, Muslim are encourage to adhere to do a lots of Quran reading and if possible go for small pilgrimage or Umrah to gains Allah blessing. To All Muslims in myLOT, wish you Ramadhan Kareem. For your information, fasting do helps in your health being and also to help your digestive systems to do overhaul. Our body systems will rejuvenate itself after resting.

Its coming to the third day of Ramadhan.It has always been an eventful month for me.During this month,its like determination for me to score points with God.Love this special month.There's many opportunity to gain good deeds and renew ourselves from all our sins.Its the best time for inner reflection and devotion to God.Other than that,its time for performing acts of charity and give sharing with others.

Muslims have a great discipline and respect to their belief. I also look forward into disciplining myself like them because i'm getting fat and my eating habit becomes a binge. I need to abstain from fatty foods and from eating too much pork.

I have a muslim friend who told me that ramazan is coming so he wont be able to hangout with me. I am a hindu and even in my religion we fast. We fast for nine days in Navratri, and also at some occasions like Lord Krishna's B'day thats Janamasthmi and Shivratri, even some people do fast once a week on any day to worship there gods.
