Does cashcrate have a paypal payment option?

Cashcrate stated out in early '06 and did pay with paypal. But since most members would sign up with false/fake physical mailing addresses in prevention of receiving physical junk mail, cashcrate couldn't sell these leads to 3rd party companies since they were fake, this is done just the same way your bank, insurance, electric, or cable company would sell your personal information to 3rd parties. So in order to get their members to submit their correct physical mailing address, they switched to CHECK only and no longer offer paypal. Now members are forced to give their real address or they won't be able to get paid. Cashcrate never publicly stated this is the reason for the change, but rather just BS'd their members with other general reasons no one could argue with. Obviously companies that sell your personal information as potential consumer leads to 3rd parties aren't going to tell you that they do so, so you aren't deterred from entering your real information. Most companies lie outright about it, we've all seen the common phrase "We Don't Share Or Sell Your Personal Information to 3rd Partie". 99.9% of the companies that state this, do in fact sell your info. These are not smart companies and everyone knows this, but they think this little statement will rest assure your little soul to not be paranoid.

As with most CashCrate discussions here on myLot they are out dated. Let me explain the problem with PayPal and GPT sites. PayPal has been the target of a tremondous amount of fraud. This has let CashCrate to remove their Paypal option. They would rather cut checks and have their members get paid, then send it via Paypal and have some hacker take it from their members. I can understand why most of you would rather use PayPal. I would also. But we have to get past the hackers and fraud issues. Remember it all stems back to the fact that one person ruins it for the rest of us. Good Luck!!!!

Hi VotreAmie I recently joined CashCrate and as far as I know, they don't pay by Paypal. To clarify this, you might be better off getting in touch directly with CashCrate or hopping on the forum and asking the members there. Best of luck...
