Ghost Hunters season to start......again?

I love Ghost Hunters and watch it religiously every week, but last week I noticed something that made me go "what?". Durning a commerical break they showed sences from the upcoming season preimer to start on Sept. 26. Didn't they just do that in June? I know that they have been showing reruns lately, but really thought nothing of it(although it greatly irriatated me). So,what was that in June, just a teaser trailer to keep us interested? Still watch the show, still love it, but I guess I just don't understand what's going on. Anybody got any ideas?

It's hard to tell. I guess they wanted to show some epsiodes over the summer because they had an excess or something and wanted to make sure people stayed interested in the show. Then again, I'm not a big TV marketing type person so I have no idea why they'd want to do it. I wouldn't complain though, at least we get some more new episodes!

There are 4 different seasons. Most shows only air 1 season a year, but some others tend to run 2 or 3 different seasons making them have several seasons in a year...i hope that makes sense. thats what Ghost Hunters are doing. They do the same for both Monk and Phsyc on USA they run 2 seasons within 1 year.

I for one, love Ghost Hunters. I think it is a wonderful show. The season split? I think it was a good idea. It makes it last longer. I watch the re runs anyways. I love the way Sci Fi is trying to keep our attention. Running four hours of Ghost Hunters as a prelude to the start of a new season. It's great!
