My youngest grandsons name is Hunter. His nickname is Bubba. Anyhow the whole family was over Sunday for apple picking and dinner etc. My wife, daughter, her hubby, and the oldest grandson all went for a wolk. Hunter stayed home with grandpa and great-grandpa as he is like me and doesn't like REALLY long walks which they always take. By they I mean my wife and our daughter. So sitting playing with him as they were gone I gave in finally to his begging for a candy bar after his mom said no junk. HAHAHA! I almost always give in. Anyhow after giving him the candy bar he said, "Thak you grandpa. I love you." I returned the saying with, "I love you hun." He says, I'm Hunter not hun. I laughed so hard and tried to esplain what was funny about it to him but being only 6 he doesn't understand terms and words of endearment just yet. Hun. HAHAHA! HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

He is the one with Autism. The food is a huge issue is the problem. He will eat till he pukes. He doesn't seem to know when enough is enough. So that's the problem. It's not just candy. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

LOL! He definitely did not like what he thought was the shortened version of his name, did he? Hahaha! I have a nephew named Hunter and he does the exact same thing to me. You know how I always say "hon"? Well he keeps thinking that I'm trying to give him a nickname, and boy does he give me what for each time!

Aren't they just the most wonderful little souls? My two year old granddaughter and I spent alot of time together.....I made a movie of her pictures and set it to John Denvers Annies' song. She loves to watch it everytime she is here....so Sat. night we watched it and I have filler of roses inbetween the pics just to add something to the movie. I explained to her that the single rose means I love you and that I made the movies of her pics because I love her. Later we are in the stuido stamping and she makes a pic for her mommy then asks for the pink sparkle pen. She does her little scribble thing and tells me that it's a rose......cause she loves her mommy!

Hey Webeishere! lol That was really cute! I dont have the pleasure of children, but Im graced with friends that do have kids. Tylor, my friends 6 yr old is a riot! He picked something up from watching Sponge Bob Square Pants and one night while picking up his dad from work, Tylor announces from the backseat that "Dad, your not my Moms type anymore" lol I wont discuss the drama that caused....lol I guess I have a sick sense of humor but I couldnt stop laughing when she told me this. A few weeks ago we took him to a fair where I live and we were by the bull riding attraction. A couple of the bulls were mounting one another and Tylor says "look Pa that one is trying to get a piggy back ride"! xx

One of my favorite things a young man ever said to me had to do with clothes. I shopped garage sales, etc. for my kids, I was pretty frugal. One Saturday when the weather suddenly changed from hot to cold, my son (9) was sitting on the sofa, shivering, in shorts. I was doing laundry, but I told him, "Son, you have a pair of brown corduroy pants in your drawer, and I think they would be warmer." He looked at me, and in reply said "I do not like brown. When I wear brown, I feel like dirt. I will never wear brown again." To my knowledge, he has not worn brown since. I sure as shooting never have bought him anything brown again.

Poor Hun he does not understand. When my son was three we where in a restaurant and I had a cup of hot tea. I got a package of honey. My son asked me what the honey was I said it was HOney. He said I know but what is it I said honey, we went around and around a few times. He thought I was calling him honey and did not understand the stuff in the package was also called honey. I finally figured why he did not understand. That same night we where out of town to see my sister and my son got car sick. He refused to take the dramamine. So I told him to look at what my twin sister's baby was doing so I could slip a draminine in his hot cocoa. My then brother in-law looked at the baby and wanted to know what the baby was doing also. I could not stop laughing to tell him.
