We see black and white dreams. why?

Maybe I'm a lucky one. I see in colours.... I thought everyone did. There have ben times when I have black and white dream there is always a significant colour that will stick out. Usually it is a red. and it might be something as little as a red book.... I don't know. But I have weird dreams and a pretty good memory of them.

I know that dreams are colored but i wanted to know the other's opinion. Now i want to ask one thing that do you know which colors are present in wide range in our dreams. One thing i want to say that there is very few color which comes in our dreams.

The only colour that I truly recall seeing vibrantly is red. Mind you different chades of red but the other colours are usually all dulled.

Well I can see color dreams and I think a lot of people can so I dnt know why you think that people can only see black and white dreams. And I can also see the dreams in every angle. So I think it is your imagination power which decides your dreams.

Hmmm... I dream in color too. Come to think of it, I can't recall ever having a dream in black and white. Do you know a lot of other people that dream in black and white?

I dream alot and most of my dreams are in color. On the rare occasion I will have a black and white dream but it is usually one that leads up to a nightmarish one. I dream alot of a red dress with white polka dots and being at school, and anothe one is me driving a blue car which I can't control and crash. I think maybe you should keep a dream journel beside your bed and when ever you have a dream and wake up write your dreams in the journel and record the colors you remember seeing in your dreams. I do wonder though if blind people dream in color?
