Steroids vs Naturopath

I have a baby girl Grace,who has CAH.She is on steroids for the rest of her life...Some people have suggested some thing called naturopath...what is that? is it true it actually replaces the drugs that doctors give you...I don't know if I should trust my babies life to this...although because of her steroid use, there will be many o' side effects to come.(including premature death) Cah means a shorter life span to begin with...what am I doing to my baby by giving her this medicine if there is a better way!!!?? Please if anyone knows of this "new Age " Naturopath(or whatever)it is called plese let me know...I'm very interested in the pros and cons.
