Did you learn table manners when you were a kid?

I don't know if it is just me but, I have noticed more and more people chew with thier mouths open. It seems like people just don't use thier manners at the dinner table anymore.

Hello Kristi73, Yes I learned table manners when I was a kid. We were always taught right table manners at home and at school. Yes, I noticed that too. More and more people now a days don't mind their table manners anymore when their eating. At restaurants you'll people talking with their mouth full and picking their teeth without covering. I think we should teach table manners at home to our kids while they are still young and always remind them what is right as they are growing up.

I completely agree! I believe people just let their kids run around like wild animals now a days. They do not have any consideration for others.

In my opinion, it has alot to do with the fact that most people don't even eat together at the table anymore. It's a shame, but I think that has alot to do with it.

I think your right, people don't do things like they did back in the day. They don't teach thier kids manners or even know what is going on with them outside of the house most of the time. Thanks for your response.
