Anyone have any great gift ideas for a friend's wedding?

Look into the class schedule at your local craft store and see if there's anything you can apply. Sometimes they do covered photo albums which can be done for weddings and come out really beautiful. You can do satin, moire, lace... You could also do a shadowbox with her invitation in it and some flowers and stuff. My best friend did that for me when I got married and it was so beautiful.

...A book on planning divorce! LOL! Just kidding! ...The single best book I have ever read on relationships has got a really hoaky name, however, it nails relationships on the head! The book is by Bill & Pam Farrel and called MEN ARE LIKE WAFFLES WOMEN ARE LIKE SPAGHETTI. There are questions in the back of each section that will help them get to know each other, understand how the other responds/thinks and build a strong relationship. ...There is another great book and I am having a hard time remembering who it is by. I think it is called THE FIVE LOVE LANGUAGES. I heard a CD on it. I have it, however, I have not read it yet. It is packed in my books to read box that I cannot find at the moment. (You'll be happy to know we found our hair brush!) This book also has a test to help determine which love languages are most important to whom. ...Buy the book(s) and put together a gift basket with a bottle of champagne, two really nice glasses, gift certificate to a spa (we have hot tub gardens were you can rent a hot tub for an hour or two)or night at hotel with hot tub in room, box of chocolates, bubble bath/salts, any thing else you choose to include and the books. When you buy things for your friends and when your budget is reasonably sizeable, then first of all you should ascertain what kind of tastes she has. Is she also a person who can appreciate something very creative?-if you are good at handwork and if she does not have the same tastes, then it would be pointless if you make her something.All your efforts would be wasteful. So, why don't you give her something that she will definitely use/ some useful household gadget, [if she normally likes only utility items as opposed to fancy articles] ,or a beautiful sweater, shawl, or some small piece of jewellery that she would use?.[there must be differeent pieces according to one's budget, I am sure].

How about a bottle of nie massage oil and an instructional book on massage. That is a nice gift that both your friend and her husband can enjoy together, and that will help make thier relationship stronger. Also it's kind of fancy looking, as gifts go. Another good romantic gift, a book of quotes on love or marriage.

Well Jep, i know.. looking for a gift for a special friend on this special occation its very difficult. Since you want something special and creative. I would suggest why not do this.. get a pair of pillow case.. buy it something simple and eligence and then do your creative work on the pillow case.. some thing like.. "Happy Nite Always" or something nice.. and signed by you.. if you are good in creative stiching.. that will be better. I think this will be remembered by your friend.. specially when they go to bed..
